Rough Going

| | Comments (6)

It's been a rough couple of days.  Luc has been open to trying pretty much everything to alleviate the nausea.  He ends up more nauseous than before.  We are now trying some aromatherapy and I am going to contact someone that lives in our old neighborhood who may be able to help me with some accupressure.  If he can just endure this then he will be able to enjoy the holidays and not think about any of this.

This morning a high school singing group came to perform a few songs.  They were singing in the hall.  Luc was too sick to go out, but I went out.  There was just one little girl, about 4 years old, just standing mesmerized in the middle of the hall.  The group was singing "I Can Only Imagine" (which is one of my favorite songs).  A few of the teens were almost too choked up to sing.  It was a very touching scene.  It was all I could do to choke back my own tears.  I know that these kids up here are in the presence of "the Son" even though they can't see Him with their eyes.  He would never allow them to do this alone.  What a wonderful world it will be when He reigns and there is no more suffering!!

I'm so sorry Luc is having a rough time. I'm just glad he gets a break soon!

I hope the aromatherapy helps. I remember singing with our choir to the hospitals and it
was such a rewarding experience. Eye-opening. It really changes a person for good.

As always, your family is in our prayers.

I so feel for Luc. Feeling barfy is the worst. I really hope the acupressure works out.

I'm sorry to hear that it’s been rough, I hope the aromatherapy or acupressure work out. That is so neat to hear others can come and share their voices with those that are suffering at this time, in hopes to lift their spirits. Good luck!!

Your family is in our prayers and has been for a long time. We had not heard anything until we came across the article in the paper or we would have sent word before now. We hope this season will bring you all a nice rest and that it will be peaceful for you. Our love and thoughts go out to your family-You are an amazing family and it is as always our privilege to know you-and to have you share your inspiring comments to all of us. Your family's openness strengthens us all. Tell Luke his old Primary Teacher says to hang in there-as well as his Grandma's old Visiting Teacher!
